Flavor Flav Roast- Yeeeeah Boy!!!
I have seen several roasts over the past few years from Pam Anderson to Andy Dick, but this one is priceless. I grew up on Flavor Flav and it is not like he is a hard target, but damn! I included several clips of the comics below so enjoy this.

I KNOW I AM ON HIS NUTS, BUT...
I had to show a classic Will Ferrell (Ron Burgundy) clip being that it is opening night of the NFL and all. Anyway, enjoy and I promise I will put other videos up eventually...maybe.

Will Ferrell...This Generation's Chevy Chase?
I know that the above is a bold statement, but I have to believe it makes for an interesting argument. I grew up on Chevy Chase and believe him to be one of the best ever at the improv type humor. Anytime Chevy was on Saturday Night Live, you knew to expect the unexpected, and of course his movies like Fletch, and Caddyshack, speak for themselves. Since Chevy fell off the scene, as they all do, I have to believe that no one else has even come close to the masterful comedy of Will Ferrell. I literally laugh as soon as I see him on camera, and he never dissapoints. He has movies like Old School, Anchorman(maybe my favorite comedy since Fletch), Night at the Roxbury, just to name a few, that are instant classics. I am not going to dig too deep here, but I am curious what other people think about this...
This clip alone from Saturday Night Live supports my argument. Enjoy!

Finally...Football Season
I have to say that this weekend was awesome for a few reasons. First of all, college football kicked off the start of its season which means a lot of days on the couch drinking until I pass out...can't wait! I unfortunately missed the giant upset of Michigan, because it was not showing locally, but what a way to start the season. I am a Kentucky fan, (yes you read that right) and for the first time since I can remember, I am excited about our season. We are coming off of a bowl win over Clemson last year, and have the offensive power to compete with any team in the country this season. The good news is that we actually play about 7 teams in the top 25 this year, but the bad news is that we play about 7 teams in the top 25 this year. We have a chance to go to another bowl if we can upset just 1 of the top teams we play, and we have a solid chance to do that. If we can just improve a little on defense...we might have shot. I just hope we kick UofL's ass!
The second reason this weekend was awesome...Phil Mickelson beat Tiger Woods! I am a huge fan of Phil Mickelson and have been for some time. I have followed Phil thru the good and bad, and believe me there has been plenty of bad. I love the excitement he brings to golf and his creativity... although it costs him consistently. I also am a giant Tiger hater...becasue he is richer than God. I actually hate Tiger I think mainly becasue of how the media portrays him. They act as if he can do wrong and he is the image of how young athletes should be. I guess they just ignore all the F bombs and God Damnit's he yells on the golf course on national television. The announcers are as bad. They will show Phil reach a green in 2 from 270 and say..."not a bad place to be, but a tough up and down from there..." Tiger will be 155 out and leave himself a 20 foot putt, and the response is something like this... Wow...that is exactly where you want to be, and you just can't get much better than that. I sound bitter? I have just built a hatred of the Tiger persona over time and have wanted to see Phil finally shut him up. I can finally say he did that this weekend in style.
